Wanelo ease of use

I have several suggestions to make Wanelo much more user friendly.

1) Be able to search on a class and level range. This way we could see what other characters are using around our level.

2) Be able to search for equipment. Similiar to Allakhazam's search. We could specify a class, slot, stats, lvl reqs, and/or focus effects. Another good way to find equipment that we can use.

3) Be able to search equipment based on name.

4) Possibly include a link to the wiki page of the item we click on. This way we can find out where it drops, etc.

5) I dont know if it's just firefox or not, but mouse-over on an item doesnt show anything. Itd be nice to be able to see what item I am clicking on before I click it. That way I dont have to click on items I already know about.

Most of these should be relatively easy to do, if the item.db is in fact a database. Or if you need someone to do the coding, let me know, as I could prolly figure this out.

The mouse-over works on IE but not on Firefox

Download the extension for firefox called, IEView.
On any page that gives firefox a fit just right click and choose "Open in IE"

Keeps ya "safe" for normal browsing and still allows ya to readily open up pages that are just wonky in Firefox.....but dont do it on pron sites

Good ideas be nice to see them happen but i am pretty sure wiz or someone said that they have more important things to work on instead of the wanelo the wanelo was at the bottem of things they wanted to do

We don't have a web coder, so yes it would be rather difficult. Wanelo is pretty damn low on priority right now. If we ever get around to doing stuff with it, rest assured we'll take some input as to what should be there. Until then, no more posts on the topic.
