Wait a minute...300 !!!

Server's in Austin?

I still get over 700ms and I'm located in Dallas, TX. How did Wiz get hooked up with a server in Texas, if he lives in Europe? I would think there would have been local servers available to him.

We rent it from a soulless corporate entity called ev1servers.

WR reps should advertise on community/class boards and tell people about the alternative that they could be playing. There are probably more than alot of people that, in the back of their minds, wish something like this existed--yet have no idea that it actually does.
 
When I started, which was about two months ago, 150 was about peak, 100 about average. To see 300 on, and all those low levels running around all crazy like, is just insane. Walking into BB and seeing people actually LFG and grouping up is also nice. You just didn't see that when I was leveling up. There were parties here and there, but not all over the place like they are now.

Anyway, this is an awesome wicked gnarly server, and we all know it. And hell fuckity shit piss if I'm wrong. (obligatory swearing to appease Melwin).
 
I think 50 was about max when I was playing, part of the reason I quit. It's great to see you're up over 300 now, this place rocks so hard.
 
If WR has to be split onto two servers will that be an enormous recoding feat or quite simple? :)

Edit: I mean 2 for one world not 2...

332 max - "only" topped the old maximum by 32 within 48 hours!

Who said 400 by the end of june again? Care to re-evaluate? *g*

The combined efforts of Wiz and Wany will be more than enough to get two servers going.

Wany is a server hero anyways.
 
2 servers is double the 300 some dollars it costs a month to run the current setup, we would need more donations to cover this , what is the expected player cap for our current server?

40 people raiding Zirvane. Crashed TOV twice and lagged terribly in both encounters. Wiz said awhile back that we'd be able to raid without hassles like this (after crashing and lagging Everchill awhile back). Should we be lagging this bad? Or is it due to the server population growing rapidly which requires more 'optimization'?

Server needed a reboot. Crashes were fixed just now. It's a population issue, which is being worked on.
 
Grats WR :) Nice having lots of people to see and chat to and group with. Server just keeps getting better
