Voice Graft Clicky

I'd really like to see an item with a voice graft clicky that is usable by classes who don't get the spell. The Soulgem of a Monstrosity could be changed from having a single charge of Summon Monster II to being a Voice Graft clicky (doesn't have to be that, but then a whole new item doesn't need to be created, just an existing one tweaked.)

Its not a game altering suggestion, just something I'd like to have for the novelty of having my pet hold a conversation with me.
 
Changing the Soulgem would be cool, obviously it would need to be changed to the rare and make the Rod the common drop. Ive actually never seen the Rod drop :psyduck:

Don't be a drama queen. Changing the - non working - clicky on an item to something that does work isn't exactly a monumental "waste" of manhours that could be spent elsewhere.

Any manpower being spent on useless bullshit is less manpower being spent on content. Xeldan or Wiz would have to go into the spell database, create a whole other item that has voice graft and replace Soulgem, then itemize it to Theurgist of Elthannar. This takes a lot more time and programming than you think.


I'm not being a drama queen by thinking that the content designer's time is better spent on things that will affect the entire server, rather than a guildless soloer who talks to himself.

Drama queen, maybe. Selfish yes.
The whole server does not resolve around your raiding targets. That "bullshit" is what makes the game fun for the others. If the server was solely made for raiders, we would know for long.
Besides it would take some time to Jayelle in the first place, not Wiz. Maybe you haven't grasped that this suggestion wasn't made in a top priority spirit.
Go back and complain on the right topic.
 
I think I just rubbed one out to the idea of making Spanky the pet froglok speak to me.

With Eqemu's less optimal coding this would take about 3 minutes. Stop being a drama queen.
