Unneccisary files?

Does someone have a list of unneccisary files that SOD doesnt need??

I Installed EQ Titanium.. which has all the expansions.. It didnt give me a choice to install JUST the ones SOD needed..

So... is there a list of files somewhere perhaps.. of files that would be safe to delete?

EQ takes up 4GB on my incredibly small HD.. which is a lot :\ and i was wondering if I could easily free up some space!

Thanks! :)

I have only the expansions I need for SOD installed, and my folder clocks in at 3.34 GB, so you wouldn't be able to save too much space by paring down to the minimum.

There is a gig difference between Titanium and only whats needed for SoD for me.

If you need to save space that badly, install just the Trilogy, patch it to GoD, and then patch all in SoD.

But yeah, you wont be able to install Trilogy from Titanium discs afaik.

Titanium = 3587MB
SoD = 2564MB

Pay $50 and get a 100gb hard drive. It will help you more than deleting files SoD doesn't

What GoD zones does this game actually need? On the setup for the game it says only to install up to LDoN.

iaeolan has it right. If space is that tight, get yourself another drive.

Also if you are a fan of myspace be sure to run disk clean-up. I clean gigs of crap off my sister in laws machine every couple of weeks because of the temp files that get cached from all the horrendously designed sites.

You might also consider springing for a dictionary ;)

Nice

I usually get my stuff from microcenter or ebay, havn't done as much with newegg as i should.

Best buy isnt the best for prices, but I figured to use it as an example that many people have access to

I prefer the WD caviar drives since they give 3 a year warranty.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822144392 86$ shipped.

That is a OEM drive which means you only get drive. No cables, disks ect. Not bad if your a geek and have that stuff laying around, but could be a pain if you aren't real handy with computer hardware.

Yeah you have to watch out for that, I got a 250gig SATA drive from New Egg, didnt notice it was OEM and since I was replacing and IDE drive.. no cables! Should have gotten the drive from CDW, would have paid just a little more with my emp discount and gotten the cables with it..
