Underhill gate clicky

Ok so myself and a few other folks have put a lot of time and effort towards this myself something like 21-23 failed bags and I hear zapple got frustrated and quit after about 30, at 6 clicks per bag thats 132 failed attempts for me and 180 for them.

The camp is terri-bad exp/money the drop rate on the quest items is pretty bad, I understand that there was several balancing changes made to the camp due to perma camping. At this point it takes less time to farm the plat to buy a bag then to farm one bag ( I know I've farmed 12 or 14 "I lost count" and bought the rest). I'm not tryin to sound complainy but its crazy that an Underhill gate click has taken way more time then either my DL or murk gate quest lines.

What I think would help is this:

1) Increase the drop rate on the power cells
2) Increase Gatherbot 1 spawn rate a bit but make the combine bag more common.
3) make the quest reward (giant bag of miscellaneous clockwork stuff No-Trade)
4) increase the odds of underhill gate click 1-5 bags is reasonable but 20+ is ridiculous

At this point not many people camp robots for money since there is plenty of places that are far better and there's maybe 1 bag up for sale every few days so its not like anyone is missing any big money.

Worst luck I heared of is 43 bags till clicker. Also they are droppable, and last time I checked there was quite a market for these, wich resulted in high end people buying these off lower end people, making it a nice source of income for the lower guy.

tl;dr

IDK about changing this.

No one farms them really anymore as I posted previously. There has been total of 1 or 2 on listsold in the last week alone, I bought them.

If people other then me actually farmed them (only other person I seen there in the last few days was flotti) I would buy them but since the axes in that camp were nerfed to little over 100pp vendor and the rest of the vendor trash is meh its not even a good plat camp anymore.

the camp is not worth the cash anymore. before you could make some nice money but that is a thing of the past.

I agree with this post. Before the nerfs, this camp was horrible XP but at least you made some money doing it, and I thought that was the trade-off. The neck clicky was super rare but hey, I'm making huge cash so if I end up with a neck to underhill that's a bonus.

Now it's bad xp, bad money, boringly slow respawn and super rare item that I probably won't get.

I don't think I'll be doing this camp anymore or buying any more bags, I've gone through 10 maybe myself.

This is right on.

Killing 10 mobs and then going AFK for 20 minutes shouldn't be great cash. If you kill named plant PHs or Sproutari while waiting for clockworks to respawn the money is still solid as is the exp.

I'm all for making the gate clicky less RNG to obtain though.

You're gauging this from the last time you've played. The drop rate of sproutari and plants has been significantly reduced as well. The xp/cash is really bad now. You're better off farming Kaesora.

I am actively playing again and have walked out with 5-10k every time I've farmed OG for 2-3 hours.

If your farming robots and anyone walks in the zone you lose named/sproutari. personally I dont think the money needs increased with the robots just the quest changed to be done faster. less then 0.4% chance per click (going off of the 43 bags of fail that nwaji mentioned ) to get the clicky after spending 8-12 hours farming 1 bag is ridiculous.

Underhill has a MoP, a druid port right outside, and close to gfay (wiz port,MoP,gate click) and athica MoP.gate click.

There is no reason why ikisith content takes less time to get the gate clicks for, I know I finished both Murk and DL.

Finally I'm no Dev so maybe I don't understand some of the reasons why its the way it is currently but if people that play my content describe it as boring, slow, face smashing to wall or pointless (previous lines of why its easy to get there and not worth the effort) I would change it up.

For any Dev or GM that takes the time to read this thread thank you for your time I know you guys have your hands full with the tier balancing.

i dont understand why the cell drop rate was lowered... well maybe because of the old money.. i think increasing it back to it original 3-4 cells per clear at least would be in order... or even the 5-10 per clear like when a few other high end guild got all theirs

LOL yeah Tier I've gone something 11 clears in a row before without getting a single cell, all so 28 bags and counting now.

I opened upwards of 40 of them for my cleric and did not get one for my cleric and then I just stopped caring because too much money was wasted and I only occasionally had to box my cleric for raids there. I think I got one on my mage in about ~15 bags. So over 50 bags and 1 item. I'd say it's pretty awful and not at all in-line with the effort to get pretty much any other gate item I've gotten. Yes, this includes raid porters for prison. Those took less time and effort, as did getting warmly to refuge to get spears, or ally to gruploks to get shields.

These days I would say it's a pretty useless item anyway since the exp is mediocre, the money is almost non-existent, and no raid force that exists of players that still play the game can even kill the raid monsters worth caring about in that zone. I wouldn't worry about it.

Vitali, that pic is photoshopped. Im always /anon, and a skinny 130 lb long haired white kid IRL. Otherwise, the copius amounts of food, pitcher of drink, and giant empty glasses is pretty accurate
