Underhill faction help

I started a Gnome Enchanter, I was doing my thing killing newbe mobs in the newbe zone. Then I went to town and my faction fell somehow.

Now the citizens and guards attack me.

Why did I lose faction with them, when I was doing newbe quests to gain faction? How can I improve my faction?
 
Did you have an illusion on that would make you KOS when you came back? Did you accidentally kill a guard or merchant?

Honestly, if you are not too far into working your toon up it may be better to either reroll or switch to Athica as a main city. They have all the trainers and such you need really.
