Underhill Defense Prototype V

So I figured out the use for the disconnected power core that drops from Underhill Defense Prototype IV. And the quest seems to dead end with, "I see you're not a tinkerer yet." Anyone know if this is broken? I'm going to look into whether its a faction requirement, but it kind of sounds like I need an unimplemented tradeskill. =/

Update: Maxed out all Underhill factions and no change in dialogue.

I did. It doesn't work and I got it confirmed by a dev that there's no further scripting for it. Perhaps one day something will come of it.
