Undercaverns Fear and YOU

Okay idk how many people have visited the Undercaverns sence fear was enabled, but these mobs fearing in this zone not only make if very difficult to have single mobs but they also fear you into walls and warp you all over the place. I have been warped halfway across the zone and underneath buildings, warped though the fence near zone in and sent back to the ent after clearing to the harder part of the zone. I am hoping you can take a look at this and maybe change it from a fear to a stun or maybe a dd .
 
The warping thing is nothing new. It's a knocjback and sometimes works weird. Kicked me to zonein once too. This has nothing to do with fear though.

I can imagine that fear sucks in there though. I don't know how it's there, but I learned the hard way that some mobs, in Highkeep i.e., tend to chaincast fear (well, at least very often). That means, it doesn't help you to resist fear twice if the 3rd fear goes through. You will most likely die.

Not a problem in all the zone, I got feared in HHK once and started running but only until I hit the next wall.
 
Paw is a royal pain in the butt with fear, you run throw walls and jump off the ledges. It appears the coding wants you to stay a certain distance form the target that feared you so when you fall off your feared toon then trys to climb back up throw the tunnels of paw. Of course training everything in the zone behind you, while the fear mobs run down the tunnels at you with eveyrthing you missed.

Then you meet in the middle with about 40-50 mobs and die...
 
It's a complicated thing...at the same time RP wise, when you have fear instilled in you, it's common to react totally weird and run everywhere. Fear hasn't be implemented to be just another mez.
Problem is it makes certain zones unplayable. If only the run through wall could be addressed, I'd say not to bother about the rest, even falling off the bridge...cause it's not totally unexpectable.

Falling off a bridge I dont mind as its realistic.. phaseing throw a wall is not. The trying to stay a certain distance around the mob that feared you isn't very realistic ether, though it might have been a paw only type problem as I haven't heard anyone else have that particular problem in other zones.

Due to the wall phaseing I would rather fear go back to the way it was until something can get done about that part.
 
A band-aid could be to have fear make your character run in a tight circle while spamming the /panic emote. :haw:
 
I have been in paw and it can be kinda bad there, possibly reduce the time you can be feared to >1 min. That could help w/ the train control...or not
