Unable to load maps

Hi, I'm a total beginner and can't succeed in getting connected. After creating my caracter, i can not enter the world.

What did I do wrong ?
 
Dont know. With so little information to go on, its really not beneficial to start throwing out guesses until you put in some effort to describe the problem you are having better.
 
all right then : I downloaded your maps et patcher and extract them in the everquest foalder. I started the game through the sod patcher. I entered the sod server and could create my character.

Then I had the windows with the only map available (up to then everything is ok) and chose may deity. Then i clic on the "enter the world" button and then PATATRA !!

It read : Unable to load world : Everquest cannot find the zone file "nightmareb" in the directory taht your are currently running Everquest from. Plase check and make sure that you do not have more than one directory with EQ installed (I DID)....

Is that of any help for you ?
 
You don't have the right expansions, you need up to Gates of Discord in order to play SoD correctly.
