turning on logs

Anyone know how to turn logs on ingame? Heard this would be a good idea, especially if I want to post stuff to bard fixing forums. Also, once I have them turned on, where would I access them at?

Any help is greatly appreciated, ty.
 
it's /log on. And it'll be under the SoD directory as EQ_log_charname_.txt
 
You can also find it in your eqclient.ini. If you enable it there, you won't have to do so every time you log on.
 
I have LOG=TRUE in my eqclient.ini and it hasn't created any log files for me yet. I guess I can just do a /log on each time I start SoD, but is there something else I might check to have it log automatically?

EDIT: Just figured it out. The log files are actually still created in the EQ directory.
 
sorry for my noobish question..
I thought I was keeping logs form my mage. Some said I should set file eqw.ini parametre to FixEQIni=TRUE and they'll save themselves automatically. Well, i'm obviously a computer analfabet, because I have no other logs apart form the day that I started playing. I set this on like a month or even more time ago.

PS: Well, I ran "search" and found only one eqlog from 18th November. WTF am I doing wrong? :D
