/tt and corpses

You can target a player and "/tt Hi there" to tell them directly without having to type out their name.

On live, you could target a corpse, and "/tt Ready for Rez?" and the message would go to the player whose corpse it was. However, on SoD, this happens:

You told Aplayer's corpse333, 'Aplayer's corpse333 is not online at this time'

Could it be made so that /tt works on corpses correctly?

This would be nice.

Rezzing is a giant race to see who types fastest. If you get a tell from me that says "." you better be ready for a rez!

I tend to skip the period.

Was that change to live something recent? I quit after PoP, and we used to complain that you couldn't do that (send a direct tell to the corpse). Anyway I just made a hotkey that says soandso is getting a rez! and /cast 6(for me). Of course this is only on raids, and people pretty much know to expect one when the mob we were fighting is dead. But this is just to help differentiate who's rez'd who.

Sorry for bumping a very old topic, but I just noticed last night that this actually works now! Just wanted to say thanks for fixing this, and let everyone else know it's working.

Here's the issue:

If you as cleric are in the zone and someone dies, you can target their corpse and /tt.

If you as cleric have zoned out and go back into zone and /tt it doesn't work.

That has been my experience with it.
