The subject of duos has been discussed down to the bone, but what about trios?
For clarification, and not to get banned, I am not talking about three-boxing, but playing with someone (GF) while two boxing.
I know there are endless possibilities when you combine three toons, but I have some fairly strict guidlines to abide by. First, there can be no evil classes (nec, shd, rog), second there are no shorties allowed (WE/HE or taller to play), and third one of the characters must be a dru, pal, or bst.
Given the choice of the three, I'd much rather have the GF play a pally, as her previous video game experience ends somewhere around pacman. If that wasn't complicated enough, personally I am not very good at two boxing, so the third member in the trio will have to be an easy to play class (no offense ment to the classes I list, but honestly they require a little less attention) i.e. cleric, wizard, warrior, etc... because I am not that skilled in the boxing ways, again.
So if you actually followed all that jibber-jabber the situaion is this: pally + something + something easy. Now obviously I am attracted to the perenial favorite class for boxing- Shaman. Paladin and a Shaman is a pretty good combo in their own right. For the relatively low maintance class I was thinking Wizard. The addition of porting, snares, and DPS would be welcome, and I am thinking I wouldn't have to do any of that until the mob is below 50% (so it would be easy- do shaman stuff, then do wizards stuff, next mob).
I would be delighted to hear the input of those much better (all I know is Monkin') at duos/trios/etc... then I.
