I am a gnome mage by the name of Timpleton. I started my career yesterday and was quite surprised to find myself standing on a wooden platform surrounded by a bunch of uppity elves! Further more, I searched all around the tree city, staying quite clear of the edges since I'm not nearly as nimble as an elf and could easily fall, and I found no sign of other gnomes. Just Wood Elves and High Elves. Snooty, pale skinned, pointy-eared elves.
After a honing my skills in the art of magecraft, I went to visit the distant cousins of my gnomish kin, the dwarves. While visiting Kaladim, I encountered two gnomes living in the comfortable confines of the rock walls of this fine, fine city. I immediately took up residence in Kaladim, but now I must travel back to that scary tree city to train with a master of magecraft.
And so, I would like to officially put forth a petition to all gnomes to push for a migration to Kaladim, where we can be near folk who are closerer to our desires and comforts than the elves.
Gnomes were not meant to live in trees!
