Tradeskills

So, I have been interested in starting tradeskills and would like to know a bit more about them. Does wis and int have any affect on skill ups and successful combines in SoD as in EQLive? Also, anything regarding which tradeskills are working and what I will need for them would be helpful =) Thank you in advance
 
I believe whicher is higher, INT or WIS, will give you a bonus on how quickly you learn a skill. That's the only bonus the stats give to my knowledge and plus whatever a racial bonus may give. Like humans have a 10% or so to learning I think.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the racial bonus did not apply to tradeskills.

also from what i could tell, tradeskills are more of a handycap if you decide to level them up before you are high level since you most likely need your money for spells/equipment
 
tailoring

Fishing is a good way for a REALLY bored new player to earn a bit of extra cash. Players will buy fish off ya for 2-3 silver each if you ask nice enough. There are places that offer cheap bait and poles and you can level your trade and make a minor profitt to boot!
