Just recently grabbed the demo for this on Steam.

By the guys who made Diablo, Diablo II, then left blizzard and tried Hellgate London.

And boy does it show. The game play is like a very refined Diablo I, with some of the conveniences of D2, Titans quest, and all the rest that came after. Graphics are stylized to say the least... yet in my short play through I've pretty much decided to drop the 20 and grab the full thing.

Apparently its single player only though which kinda sucks, but I've found it very enjoyable, and there is promise of the full world builder to come.
 
No, but a good argument for it sucking like Diablo I can be made, depending on your feelings for the series. I swear they just remixed the Tristram theme for the first town.
 
So far is not a bad game, it seems kinda easy and that you would get tired of it after a week but it has an addictive feel to it like let me just get to the next level of the dungeon than you want to keep going on.
 
I was just checking this game out. Looks like the developers are capitalizing off all the Diablo III hype. The game looks almost identical on first glance.
 
It's actually deved by the guys who made D1 and worked on D1, before they left blizzard. Guy who did the music in both games did this ones sound track too.

This is what makes me not buying the game. Might get it later tho, if the mmo that they are supposedly working on in the world of Ember is close to being released and looks promising.
 
I saw some vids for this game when I was rollin around the Ogre website. They did an amazing job w/ an open source Engine.

Blizzard is still capitalizing on their D1/D2 success. Why can't they? This is prolly the best D2 clone I've played(maybe even better than D2).
 
Didn't think you could make ogre 3d work that well frankly. I'm really having fun, and the mod scene looks like its gonna be as solid as Morrowind's was.

Can't afford 20 bucks to DL it legally eh?
