Increases damage of disease and poison spells by 2%

Does this tome increase bard's disease based DoT song?

(same question on Tome of Frost Mastery / Tome of Flame Mastery or other spell damage + tome that isn't class specified)

They work exactly the same as elemental focuses. It was brought up that without these tomes bards are the only casters unable to recoup that 5% damage lost from the codex change but there is a lot of resentment towards the class so it's a bit of an uphill battle.

what about the codex of power for bards? I have been away for a while and I do not know about it. Did you mean the +5% from each volume of the codex does not work for bards?

The codex of power does work for bards. It was reduced from 5% each to 4% for a total of 5% reduction, which is what Rorne was referring to.
