Tmaps in Storm Sea and Fire Elementals

Can you either move the Tmap spawn or the Fire ele spawn? for the lower lvl's it makes it nearly impossible to do the Treasure maps because the tmap is right on top of the fire elemental spawns. Especially for the 20-29. and the respawn on that is Riddiculus, like 2-3 minutes.
 
i don't have an exact loc, but its at the bottom of the valley, theres a trap that summons 2 fire elementals. The area itself is a shitty digging place as well
 
It was a moderate nuisance as a duo 65, so I can imagine it's hell for 20-30

You can position yourself far enough from the trap to dig to get by, but looks like a dirty trick to the lower levels looking around for a dig site, lol
 
They are referring to the only fire elemental spawn in the zone, at the very bottom of the interior of the volcano I believe.

The idea of a treasure chest buried in the heart of a volcano is interesting, but yeah it so could be moved to the rim or something.
 
Yes in the very bottom center of the volcano, there is a fire ele trap. ALOT of the tmaps have a dig location right on top of it. And low lvl players can't Deal with 2 fire ele's that will pop. By the time we kill them (IF WE CAN, they wipe a 20-29 group) or run them to the guards the trap has already reset and going to dig again repops them. Its a miracle to inch up to where the tmap is without setting off the spawn. Took us 2 hours to do it last night, and we finally couldn't finish the tmap because fire ele's were spawning.

Can you move either the Fire ele spawn, make them a lvl script (Meaning whichever lvl spawns the trap sets the spawn lvl of the fire ele's) or move the Tmap location to like just outside the rim? We finally just quit after 3 hours on a Simple Tmap
 
I was the digger in Fiaze's tmap, and it IS possible to dig a tmap situated in the crater without spawning the fire elementals. However, the area where you won't trigger the spawn while still being able to dig is ridiculously small and took me a while to find...it seemed that the elementals were not on a timed spawn, but rather a triggered spawn if you ventured too close to the center of the volcano crater. The elementals themselves are harder than the mobs for a 20-29 tmap.
 
I don't think I've ever used a simple Tmap, if you open it at 20-29 can you wait until your group is all 39 and dig it up for that tier of map instead?
 
Ideally simple maps should be in places where they can be done by levels 20-59 without traps being triggered on them every few minutes. Trap should be moved or dig should be moved.

This was brought up a long time ago and I'm almost positive that there was mention of a fix to that particular location happening (moved dig or moved trap). They shouldn't have to wait 10 levels to do the map just because the RNG shot out a certain dig site.

To answer your question Tyrone, yes the map once opened will still scale with your level. It's based on when you dig and not on when it's opened.
 
This spawn is STILL bugged as of last Friday 10/17. In addition to the annoying fire elemental trap there (a mere nuisance at 50-59 tier), the final mobs spawned bugged underground. They could beat on people but could not be targeted. Location is right at the bottom of the crater in Storm Sea.

Seriously can this be fixed? Having the chest pop up and the mobs be bugged underground and then losing the map is pretty annoying. Can it be moved out to the beach or something? This dig spot in the crater has always caused problems for people on and off over the past couple years...
 
you think someone burying treasure wouldn't want an extreme trap (regardless of level) to be set to mess with would-be treasure hunters?

My post wasn't about the trap it's about the location and mobs being bugged underground sometimes. I don't care about the trap at 50+ because the mobs aren't very hard. Your comment isn't really relevant since all treasure chests are GUARDED BY MOBS. That's I suppose in lieu of a trap. This is the only location that has a trap set almost on top of a dig site.

If all simple maps can potentially get that location though, that trap is unnecessary and unfair to people in the lower simple map tiers.

Anyway, my post is about the sloped terrain causing mobs to get bugged underground. Pets somehow could attack them but even calling the pets back did not unbug the mobs. They were not able to be targeted. If it has to be near a trap, I'm fine with that, but somewhere outside of the crater would be better for real.
 
Yeah, it's a pain. Bugged mobs, the trap with the fire elementals (although very easy mobs, annoying), etc. Having a dig spot in the middle of a crater with line of sight issues makes everyone cringe when we say we have maps there.
