Think I messed up my patcher

Not sure what I did though. I played normally a few hours ago and it worked, I quit normally and that worked, then when I tried to sign in I'm seeing the little **** screen before I sign in and it keeps saying it can't connect to EQ.

Is there a way to reset the patcher or something?
 
Im going to say you have the patcher pointed at the wrong file. However, since you gave absolutely nothing to go on besides "it isnt working", thats just a guess.

Try providing information.
 
Definitely check where its pointed at, I know after a fresh installing of the game it took a couple of times redirecting it for the patcher to finaly understand it should keep that location in its memory :)

But more information would be nice...
 
Well I did say it was working before and it's still pointed at the right file. C:\Program Files\****\*********\eqgame.exe

The game worked just fine like it's supposed to. I log back in a few hours and now I'm seeing the S0ny screen and it can't connect anymore. I didn't change anything, click any different tabs or anything.
 
The it in my last post would refer to the patcher, since the question posed was "where is my patcher pointing". So yeah, I'm using the patcher.

And yes, my computer is plugged in and my monitor is turned on :p

Well actually your patcher doesn't get pointed anywhere, EQW gets pointed at eqgame.exe. You can also start this directly, without using a patcher.

And if you want to be a condescending smart ass, you'll get very little help.
 
patcher doesnt seem to be the problem though, its a connection issue. since the server is up, its a user connection issue. since we still have little to no info to go on, ill guess its a firewall.
 
I have in the past encountered errors with the patcher. As the staff have stated we need more information.
What OS are you running?
Is this a fresh install of the game?
Do you have the latest .Net framework?
Have you tried downloading the patcher off the SoD website again?
Have you checked the location the patcher is pointing?
Have you checked the location eqw is pointing to?
Do you have antivirus on or off?
the list goes on. Try again please with more information and refrain from getting upset in your reply and help will be forthcoming.
