The great canni5 stealth nerf

So i decided to login my shm and play him again after a move to wow.

Upon returning I learned my great aa canni5 was stealth nerfed!

Now lvl 60 was a big lvl, I got torpor and it made canni4 actually worth my time. But I was still mashing that key nonstop.

I sorta liked the idea of after 65 lvls and 23 aa I could actually slack and not have to pound my canni4 button nonstop. I can actually look on my keyboard and notice the wearing on my keyboard of my canni4 hotkey.

But alas it seems no more.


Just wondering the reason for this nerf or am I just imagining this? I seem to recall me casting slow and 1-2 heals and canni5 taking me back or close to full mana.
 
Instead of endless mana, shamans will just have to do with virtually endless mana.
 
Same amount of hp taken, a ton less mana given.

Really not useful at all unless for some reason u need some quick mana and have half+ of your life to spare.

Just get used to mashing canni4 nonstop

Taws will say no, because saying yes wouldn't be dramatic.
 
I thought the way this was handled was kinda 'ehh'. If this change is going to stay in, could the HP cost be lowered so it keeps the original ratio? The risk generated in hitting yourself for 2k damage, and only getting about 500 mana back after slumber makes it only really worthwhile if you have either a ton of hp, or are mostly raid buffed.
 
Reducing the hp taken would be an ideal solution to keep it a good ratio.

EDIT it wasnt a good ratio to begin w/ compared to the other canni's, so better wording would be keep it from being the asstastic ratio it is now.

But yeah i just want to be dramatic. Thats the whole reason im here is for the drama. I cant get enough of it in wow so i had to come back to good ol wr to start some.
 
Ah ok, so its like getting the mana of two mod rods, but taking 2 times the hps.

I'll keep working on it then....*glances around* :brow:
 
The original solution was to lower both mana and HP regained. I would keep it as it was but just give it a longer recast if I could.

I told Aratar he needs to stop playing so well... other wise they will make his classes into mush :p
 
That's cool, it makes you feel like gm's do listen to us! Now make Form of the Bear worth casting it :)

Or if you don't, just tell me if it overwrites troll/iksar regen.
 
And isn't that the only wisdom buff that casters get besides chanter's int and wis buff? I'd say that only makes it worth it.
 
5wis/int isn't that much for me, but at least it's working properly now. thanks whoever who corrected it.
