the changes to forage.

i'm not asking that you completely revert it, but could you make it optional?

i'm not sure how many people like it, and how many don't like it, and don't really care, but i prefer the old-fashioned way to forage where it went to your cursor and you had to manually place it into your inventory.

you could even make the new way the default and force those of us who want to stay old-fashioned to ask how to revert it.

I'm tired of "lol my sword got turned into berries" petitions, so it's staying as it is.

fun, so all intelligent druids are forced right along with the idiots to clean up inventory later. you just don't forage with something else on your cursor, DOH! *hates people that screw it up for others*

don't mind me... i'll. uhm... try to get used to this change... uhm... :(

*goes on a newbie killing rampage porting them into rsp* THAT SHOULD DO IT! YEAH! (jk, btw, i'm like, extremely tired and probably shouldn't be posting right now...)

yes, the problem was more than a little out of hand. I know it had to be a fairly common occurence, because it happened to me once (o hi Mirror BP => Root) and Syrentor at least two times!

The amount of trouble the GMs then have to do even just to verify that you had what you said you had, combined with the high frequency of occurence, makes this a welcome change for the GMs, I'm sure.

In the average zone there are like no more then 10 different things you can forage, just assign one backpack to hold the most common;y foraged items and your done!

Just because someone doesnt do something the same way as you doesnt make them an idiot. Idiot :p

I already had forage auto inv so it lets me get rid of that macro and see the timer pop now. I'm happy with the change.

I can see why this was needed, but losing valuable inventory slots for useless foraged crap isn't cool. Any chance at all of something like /cm foragefilter Roots, which would prevent foraged roots from automatically going into your inventory and would instead destroy them?

errr, yeah, so i definitely shouldn't have posted on that day.

a foragefilter would be cool, then i could have it automatically destroy anything that isn't useful in tradeskills, and i already have a full stack of (except pods of water, i like having 4 stacks of that)

see! when i'm not tired and irritable i can compromise! so yeah, mark me down for the foragefilter idea! good job on thinking of it catcherb!
