Test dummies for parses

any way of putting like npc target dummies in game. that way someone could parse dps on the dummy and come up with the setup they prefer? maybe like outside of a city or in a city?

There is a Fairy Dumby already outside of Athica...heading out, just past the guards, she's near the wall on the left. Tinker...something or another. Blast her. She likes it.

this idea has been requested more times than deeins beastlord has been name changed so its is probably a lost cause. However, there are some monsters with a large amount of hitpoints that are pretty good for parsing against. Maybe you can find one

Yes but don't spread it around too much if you find one because there have been numerous mobs that were used as parse dummies in the past that were then changed to no longer work as dummies because <reasons>.

Seriously though just make wizard eyeballs or lottery masters or something have a million HP and either not fight back at all or just hit for 1 and be perma rooted, give no exp, respawn instantly, etc.

Atleast you weren't forced out of a legitimate name into one that clearly breaks the rules.

I can think of 3 such mobs, but obviously no one is going to be stupid enough to post them here. Just ask around.

When every player-proposed change is met with the response of "show me the parses", I just don't understand the reluctance to have a universal test dummy available for everyone to do those parses on. It would eliminate as much of the RNG as possible, that way. Just give it tons of hp, with a super-sick regen.

Secretly the devs put in good parsing mobs, but they pretend they didn't and we pretend to not know.
