Terminator 4 in 2009 or 2010!

I would like to think T4 will be the final movie and about the actual war between man and machines leading up to the point of victory and when peeps are sent back in time hence making that connection to the first movie.

I'd also like to see the machines from the first movie and not some new take crap. If it's going to be another send back in time to kill someone flick then it's already doomed to failure.

:hmph:

what??? T3 wasn't bad enough they're making another!!!!!!!!!

Agree if its about the future and connects itself to the 1st good.. anything else will basicly be crap.

Yea I read up some more on it, and T4 will be based completely about the war in the future. And it has the original john conner in it. I liked T3, cool movie just didn't like the guy that played john.

Trying to make a story about how time travel would interact is just too complicated until we get a real list of "rules" (wru physicists!), however, I still enjoy the Terminator series and T2 has always been one of my favorites (seeing rated R movies as a kid leaves a lasting impression zomg). If the movie is about the war in the future, that would kick all kinds of ass, but either way I will end up seeing it.

QFT my friend.

I'm reading that it'll be a new trilogy based during war time. I wouldn't mind three more movies if they all were based around the war. The war itself has always interested me and a few more movies to go into detail on it isn't a bad idea.

I also disliked T3. I didn't like that the terminator was a "female" but after rethinking it, anything like the first and second movie and it would have been just bland anyways. My main beef with T3 is the person who played the part of John. It was just too strange. He played a good J.C. but it just wasn't the same. Take him out and put in Edward and I'm sure a lot more people would have liked the film.

Yeah, but sex and violence sells...

If you don't have a hot chick as a villian nowadays you sell less tickets. Having another trilogy about the war will be very nice. I do not think making 3 more movies would be bad, because compared to the bullshit that comes out now...anything will be a nice change of pace.

WTB Watchable movies, pst

I will agree with both of you. My biggest problem was with the guy who played John. They did work really hard on T3 though...
I thought the nukes at the end of the movie were amazing. I also hear rumors of a TV show on FOX about the time between T2 and T3.. I dunno
The best Terminator games in my opinion were based on the war so I hope that releasing movie series on the war will do a lot for the story

Really the only cool thing about T3 was the way it tied the story together and explained how it all went down. The actual acting wasnt that great. Arnold was too old looking and that didnt help. However, seeing the first machines and how they began to rebel against the humans was cool.

I think 1 movie about the war would work, but 3 is probably pushing it. How can you possibly make 3 movies about the same war and not make at least 2 of them boring as shit? I do agree though, they would probably beat anything coming out now. I mean shit, all I have to look forward to this year is a new Mr Bean movie. *Shoots self*

Actually, the series will be based between 1 and 2, and will focus on the time when Linda Hamilton's character was raising and training John. The name of it will be The Sarah Connor Chronicles, or something like that.

Unless its amazingly good with lots of robots attacking each episode (and John doesn't believe there are robots until he meets Arnold in T2), I don't think it will last very long, watching her train John is gonna be boring.

Three movies, based on the lore behind the T1 and T2 movies would have been great.

A TV series? lol, I hope everyone fucking dies. :(

:psyduck:

This is like having a tv series about Ripley without the Aliens or Neo without the Matrix, or Peter Parker without Spiderman in the picture. Eh, no terminator action so who the hell cares? Who even figured that this is worth doing? :dumb: I'm sure it'll have terminator stuff in it but certainly no Terminators roaming around on a killing spree. I rather see a TV show about the events leading up to the war as we know it, starting right after T3, up to say 10-15 years later to the point where a new T movie would take over perhaps. Kinda like how the Star Wars Clone War cartoon was done for Episode 3.
