Tarhyl's Fiery Focus affecting DoT spells?

It's been quite some time since necro got added to the sun-forged focusing ruby and TFF still doesn't affect on fire dots. Can TFF be changed to affect fire dots please? It's the main draw of the item and the fact that it doesn't work means that for necros the ruby is a slight upgrade over a mystic's summoning shard.

Yea I was just letting you know that they do, I agree that the ruby should affect dots.
