talk of new class tomes?

With the recent implementation of several class'es new class tomes will there be new tomes for the rest of us?

Personally for the Ranger tome I would think something that adds to our pet, maybe a low damage proc that does a small DD and stun.

That or a proc with a low damage DoT that affects agility.

proc chance being 2%/4%/6%/8% per rank.

The message could read something along the lines of "so and so pecks and claws at the eyes of so and so"

The DoT could be the result of the npc bleeding or the stun from having a bird in their face clawing and pecking.

Yes, the intention is to fill out the placeholder tomes with actual tomes for the other classes. Priority was given to the classes with two missing tomes. Now that there are at most a single placeholder we will try to get tomes for everyone. After that we will try to look at 'bad' or 'broken' tomes. Adding a new tome line may seem simple but it is a pretty lengthy process. Right now we are making sure the ones we recently added do not end up on the 'bad or broken' pile. We have already fixed a couple of bugs with these, and if you notice any please report them.

Having said that, the goal is to continue adding tomes. As to your specific request, something to do with the ranger's bird pet might be a good idea. Many mobs are stun immune but some kind of debuff might make sense. We want to add things that expand a niche ability, shore up a weakness in the class, or add interesting utility. Feel free to post your suggestions, we did consider player's opinions when coming up with ideas. I would ask that you use this thread for further discussion of placeholder tome ideas, thanks!
