A) I think this item needs changed back to a 6 second cast time. Nothing was wrong with it. I know many people who rarely use it because 6 seconds was a long time to wait for such a small heal.

B) I am no alone in wanting some place these "Stealth Nerfs" are reported. I probably would not even care that this ring was made from a 6 second cast time into a 10 second cast time if I did not try to use it an noticed, "wtf, the cast time was changed without warning. What is this? The 10th one?"

Sure, it probably shouldn't go on the main page for simple changes like this, but it should have some place where players can view them.
 
It was allowing one to heal faster than the healer only Greater Healing item (the hand of prayer) Which is more powerful than it was intended.
Not all changes get reported because it's hard to keep track of them all and Wiz would rather spend the time fixing bugs than trying to remember everything he did for a patch message.
 
The Hand of Prayer: 3 second cast time 20 recast(300hp) = ~ 300hp every 23 seconds
The ring: 6 second cast time no recast time(100hp) ~ 400hp every 24 seconds
*It does take some time to reclick the items.

Cast time is different then recast time. If the healing ring was healing faster then the claw, I do not see a problem with it... constantly casting the ring 4 times, having no way of doing anything else inbetween, should be faster then spending 3 seconds clicking a claw ever 24 seconds. Right?

No one has been constantly clicking that ring anyways. I have grouped with many people who have it and I have been the only person to have used it.

Was the concern in using them together? The Greater Healing item (the hand of prayer) was changed to a long recast time. So in theory someone could be spamming the heal ring 3 or 4 times then use the claw. Was that the concern? 700hp every 27 seconds. Still not over powered.
 
Just because you don't think it's overpowered doesn't mean Wiz wanted it that way.
It's here to stay. Wiz didn't want it to be able to pump out that much healing, that's all.
 
You are right. I do not think it was overpowered. These kinds of changes have been reverted before and I am just pointing out how ineffective it was before... 400 hp every 24 seconds (not being able to do anything while they are using this item) was in no way game changing. Healers could have spent the time medding for a more efficent heal then using this ring. Pulling out this ring has just became pointless. 100 hp every 10 seconds.

But I guess the metaphoric foot has been slammed down... so really it no longer matters what I say.
