As a Paladin, I find myself always falling short on keeping aggro, wether I be meleeing for a whole fight, chain stunning forever, or a healthy dose of both, someone else ALWAYS seem to get the aggro.
Now, for whatever reason, I suppose it could be my semi-charismatic personality, or the fact that I had more health and AC at the time, I end up tanking, and making the pulls. So when that aggro goes to someone else, I'm either doing something wrong, or I'm just unable to do my job for some other reason.
I'd like to request that stuns do a tad bit more aggro, and see how that works out. Even if it was as little as 5%, it may be enough to hold against those pesky rangers, or even those Mage pets. It seems that going pure melee, and forgetting my stuns, can hold aggro longer, but what does that make me, a guy with a shield and a bloody mace, not a stunning Paladin.
Mind you, I have 200 taunt, at least 25% haste on at all times, and a 200 in the weapon skill I use. Aggressive style is also always on while tanking.
I look at Shadowknights and see that they get dots (great for aggro), and I'd like to be a little more on par with that, but not so much that I can be called over an equally equiped Warrior, just so that when someone needs me to do a job, I can do it right.
Now, if that was too much to ask...
How about giving Paladins, and possibly Clerics, a (charisma/10)% added aggro, or damage, or both, to all Undead.
This would make sense in more ways then one, and especially, what undead minion wouldn't be more inclined to attempt and rend my light bearing Paladin soul before the others in my fellowship?
I would also suggest having bludgeon weapons do more damage to undead then piercers and the like, but naaaah, I've bitched enough for today, and that sounds like it may be quite a deal to script.
