Stuck on EQUI_Bankwnd.xml

Ive run the patcher many times, deleted the files folder as well too re-up my own tables, and yet it always gets stuck on this particular file. Ive even downloaded the patcher files from the site... Any advice? :sadf:

Oh, and my firewall isnt blocking it, its run the patcher just fine before.

I tried deleting the files.txt file as per the sticky, didn't help.

Also, no AV was running when I was trying to patch.

Oh, if the server is down due to a new patch, then that would explain things.
Didn't realize we were in the middle of a patch upload.

Aye, still having the same problem.

Tried deleting "files.txt" again, tried deleting the "default" UI folder, made sure to click "repatch all", and the patcher still gets hung on that "EQUI_BankWnd.xml" file.

Two things have worked for my guildies:

1. Delete files.txt and repatch all
2. Reboot PC and repatch all

or combination of both ... 1. Delete files.txt, Reboot, Repatch all

all i had to do was just repeatedly trying to patch. it eventually went through on the 3rd or 4th try.

maybe it was cleared up? i dunno.

Wiz did a fix after the patch. So delete the files.txt and try again. I had to delete it twice, but it worked from there.

You can download the path files in Zip form here. http://www.shardsofdalaya.com/files/PatchFiles.zip

Just unzip them into your EQ folder.

Now go to your Desktop and right click, go to New. Then create a new shorcut.

Browse for eqgame.exe in your EQ folder.

After you select eqgame.exe and something like "C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" will show up.

Now you need to put the word patchme outside of the last "


It should now look like:

"C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme


Click Next, and name the shortcut whatever you want. SoD is good.

Just run the shortcut to log onto SoD.



You can use this to get past the patcher while still using up to date files from the PatchFiles.zip

Only use this if the patcher will not work for you after all else fails. I myself still use the patcher to get in game. Also you will need to download the PatchFiles.zip every other day whenever there is a slight update which gets annoying constantly having to download and unzip it ect. But it must be done because you must keep your files up to date.

not sure if this will help or not but worth a shot. download this UI http://pw3n.net/sod/defaultnew.rar and extract it to the Default UI folder should be something like c:\\sony\EverQuest\Uifiles\Defaults
then delete your files.txt and hit advanced tab and repatch all
