I just got my desktop fixed up and all my sod crap sorted out, patched sod up and ran everything fine.... except when i get to any screen with text on it, all the text is non-existant. I'm able to drive on since i know what is what and where to click, however once i login and get to the loading screen there are no graphics save for some random lines and crap. Does anyone have any idea wtf causes this? i have all the latest drivers for all my hardware, its just strange.

Mmh wird indeed, I had some stuff which looks close to what you mention, but my text was like unreadable, not non-existant...anyway I have a nVidia GF 4200 card, and what fixed it was a setting in the avanced display properties that had something to do with pixel position , with a slider changing the value from something from 1 to CENTER, and the problem was solved on any par value (or odd , I do't remember since I don't see the setting anymore with my recent driver). Hope it helps, or at least that it'd remind someone of this thing.
