Storm's Eye Vault

Mainly for Nostalgia reasons, Steel decided to hit the vault in Storm's Eye. Even with a few solid tries, we found that Dergelak the Ice Lord is most definitely not balanced for 18-man raids. My request is that he be balanced so the vault is an attractive place to raid once again.

Since Dergelak isn't balanced, I would assume that The Chained One, Keeper of the Gate/Seal, are also not balanced or finished.

Well this sure is an informative thread since it fails to include any reasons as why Dergelak isn't balanced.
 
We were able to do the encounter, but mainly due to our gear. We felt that a guild on the tier for this fight would have a difficult time handling the adds with offtanks and appropriate healing, and it wouldn't be very efficient for raids to bring 2+ enchanters for this, given the 18-man based raids (sorry for strat leaks). The adds hit hard enough using Draxx, Mortulin, and Kaloft as offtanks with one devoted healer each. I would suggest reducing the adds to 2 or a max of 3 or reducing the damage they deal to better accomdate guilds for this tier.

But yeah, I'll probably reduce to 2 adds.
