Staff of the magi quest

Does anyone have any info on the quest "Staff of the Magi", i've tried looking for some info on the boards already.

I've been to one post but those npc's have moved out of the area. :?
 
1st get 2 wyvern hides from wyverns, then get sword fish blod from sirens grotto then get a dusty bone dust from basement in unrest (shrouded isle).

now you have all the items needed, 1st go to a othmir in wyvernfang coast named othmir merchant, hand him in the 2 wyvern hides, you will now get a scroll.
Then move to shadow haven in the library the npc farthes back in the room, if you hail him she will say somthing about one spell missing give her blood dust and scroll and boom pada poof u have staff of the magi spell.
 
Out of curiousity, is the spell no drop? One of my chars has all the needed ingredients and I was wondering if I'd be able to finish it and give the result to a friend.
 
any ideas where one can get a key to open the basement in unrest? or do you need a rogue (rare spawn PC) to open it?
