Spell visual effects/particle animations do not work anymore

ok I will test this out and see if it works for me as well.. if you do just the certain files, you dont get any zone problems and such correct.. it just fixes the Spell's Right?

Though for me, the spell effects are wrong. IE, healing my pet used to give a red shimmer effect, now it has a poison bolt like effect.

IT do nto works for me. When i do that, the game crashes (and I still even cant see particles). Tried with the spell files and still the same. If it not crashes when loading, it crashes while I play.
 
I just assumed the spell effects were some old styled ones since many of the files are from 2002/03.
 
After replacing the files, I still cannot edit my particle settings, nor do any animations popup for casting and whatnot.

Any other ideas?
 
Auto Install

All of this seems to be a bit insane. Why don't the guys at WR just put an install.exe file on the download site with all the steps for installing the PatchWR and UI files. Let it do the work. It would be much easier and less work for all the other support staff!

Install.exe! Build one!
 
Who Cares Any Way..

It's Just Eye Candy... you dont need them...

and the staff has more important things to do then put spell effects in... so just deal with the fact if you want them you have to get this other patch... it takes what 2 mins do...
