Been killing Spawn of bloodfang, 1 hour respawn an is a place holder for a rare named Bloodfang, got him to spawn 2 times and he diddnt drop nothing.. after hours of battleing, he is pretty rape too was hard for my group we wiped some aswell, what i want to know is does he drop loot ?, thanks

It was like the yeti. In 4-5 wipes off all the PH's he popped out of a corpse twice. The first time he popped was on the 2nd mob kill. We were all thinking "cool, this might not take long at all". Then we figured out it was a one hour respawn and he doesn't come out every wave

Wait, all the ph he popped out of a corpse? For us there was just a lot of "a spawn of bloodfang", and we cleared them all, and on the last one bloodfang spawned. We were unprepared and we wiped. We came back later and fought a few fish and then bloodfang got in our grill (he may have still been up from before, or he may have spawned after the kill). We never had non-Bloodfangs spawn from killing the Spawn of Bloodfangs.
I say "popped out of a corpse", what I mean is that he instantly spawned on the location that the Spawn of Bloodfang died. There are 8ish mobs all named Spawn of Bloodfang. Any single one of them can trigger his spawning upon its death. We killed them all 5 times, I think. So in 40 kills we got 2 Bloodfang spawns. Too small a sample set to determine his spawn rate, IMO. And yeah, you better be cocked and ready to roll every time since you have no idea if this kill will be the one to spawn him.
