Some thoughts on BoE from the middle class

Well the purpose of these changes is to reverse the trend of lower level players having easy access to low priced droppable goods, so I'd say that it's working pretty well.

As for seeing poor rewards for your time, SoD rewards players a lot more for exploring new zones with a party. Outdoor zones don't have good rewards compared to dungeon type areas usually, unless the outdoor area contains some mini-dungeons or forts. A dungeon crawl with a group or fighting adepts will produce much better results than pulling roamers or camping an easy outdoor spawn.

This is one of the greatest things about this game. Unlike live (where you would expect to get your face smashed for moving another 20 feet into the zone), you can enter a SoD zone for the first time, explore a large chunk of the zone that’s all level appropriate and kill a number of nameds, resulting in a very enjoyable and profitable experience.

Also there are a ton of places you can go to at your level to make good plat. I mean there are places you can see 1pp a mob items drop as well as 1plat a mob for just xp areas if you go to the right places. Off the top of my head you can head to gorge of the one eye and make probably 100pp an hour.

A 35 sham/shadowknight duo should be able to take down the hill giants in the Obsidian Shard Mountains. These are a good source of income and xp. It might also be possible to duo the guardian wraiths in the Badlands (N, S, E & W).

You could take your duo and crawl through some lower level dungeons for some lowbie loot to sell, either to players or NPC merchants.

This is just right off the top of my head. You're bound to find more resources searching around the forums.

35 sk/shm may or may not be able to tackle gaints yet. It really depends on your gear, considering your statment problem a no.

However Heartland is a perfect place at your level range for soloing and cash. I would also add Hidden Temple as another place for higher cash drops/named mobs.

Paw is another good choice if you can handle it, the trickester paws drop 4pp staffs.

I do agree, cash in the 25-35 range (specialy for anyone solo) really sucks in general. Box/duo when they enter the lower 30s can start to get decent cash flor, specialy as they get the upper 30s.
