I am so happy to find the sod to let my eq life continus.
But there are many things i dont follow.
Please anyone could tell us.

1.how could a warrior to bind himself? my friends say he cant use the /cmd bind .
2.i was born in brobb,but my friends are in the warrens,i read the maps,there is no boat,so how can i get there except run?
3.i find lots of place ,but i still dont know how can we built a guide?need follow what steps?

where can i know the state about the server?
these days, have a lot of time the server shows "locked"
where can i know what time the server can be alright?And what's wrong with it?
 
1 - All classes get bind. It's a command, you just type /cm bind, and, zone permitting, you're bound there. This only works past level 6, though.

2 - There IS a boat from Newport to Erudin. So you'll just have to run to Newport.

3 - I can't understand exactly what your need herer =/

Finally - sometimes the server is locked, usually when they are doing maintenance or patching, but it's not often. In addition, you can always know that patches bring good things!

You can start using the /cmd bind command from level one.

EDIT: At least I was with my troll SK/Iksar BST/Iksar monk/DE Rogue/Taldorian Pally/Ogre warrior characters. Each of them made the run from their hometowns to Newport at level one, I bound myself at every zone I ran across (except Freeport of course...)

today
i run to the newport .in the lake starfall, i find a place called "knowledge portal".so i think this place maybe the
place which have the transport stone .but i cant find the stone on the ground in this place.and there is a circle.
send me to the athica ~ i dont know what happened.but i know i am lost....
are there some rules about the circle? and what the knowledge portal for?which zone have the legendary port stone?
 
That happened to me as well when running to Newport, accidentally wandered into that portal. You have to run through the forest, go take the boat to Freeport, then take the boat to Newport. The boats can be confusing, so look up the boat map on the wiki. Good luck!
 
The runestone for that portal is on a table on the bottom floor of the tower. Looks like a small bag and will respawn when taken. Athica is on the continent that was faydark on live if that helps.
 
Ahh, if I recall correctly, just get all of your friends together in a zone (at least 10 of you!) and /petition for the guild to be made. that's it!
