SoD for Mac Client?

Is this absolutely impossible?
I've never played (or seen) the EQ for mac client, but I know it exists, and I've wondered if it is theoretically possible to program a SoD patcher for it?

Lol, the frustrations of a broken laptop, and only a g5 powerPC powemac to compute with.

I know many people play SoD on their macs but it takes the windows emulation software

The problem here is that it's impossible on non-intel mac. (G5 PPC, as I specified).

Even with VirtualPC, it won't load 3D games.
(even if it could, it would only run at roughly 30% capacity)

The only commercial games that are really playable on a PPC mac are specifically ported games, and I only brought this up because EQ is one of them. :D

http://eqmac.station.****.com/ was the first thing I googled. Why not just look at their forums and see if this client works with macos on power 4? Then ask which files need to be manually configured here if it is.

The patcher is a .net executable I believe (I haven't actually run file or strings on it. cba). Its very unlikely that anyhting compatible exists but you can google it.

one problem with the eqmac client is that SoD patchs the client as well to an older version, so even if you had the mac client it would be replaced.

Dynak plays SoD on his macbook through emulation - not using the eqmac client. No clue how.
