So...are there any roleplaying guilds on SoD?

My husband and I are very interested in roleplaying. Are there any roleplay guilds running around?
 
Bearers of Truth and Revelation

This server has a unique "cult" system which allows you to be part of the Bearers of Truth roleplaying guild and still be a member of a more conventional guild. The Bearers of Truth participate in GM/Player run events that move the storyline and world along. Due to the massive development time required for other projects, these events only seem to happen every so often. There is a "cult" chat feature that you participate in and which all bearers can communicate. A more in depth look at this can be found in the Role-Playing topic within the forums. Its very fun when you feel like you have a part in the developing storyline and watching the world change. Look at the developments in Felwithe/Athica and you will see what I mean.

As for conventional guilds, I would say Revelation is probably the most RP of the guilds I have encountered. Really I would recommend talking to some of the folks from the different guilds and get their perspective. Good luck and hope to see you in there.

Yes, I've been following the roleplay forum and have been in and out of Athica a couple of times. The only problem is that to be a part of the cult, you have to be tagged, and as far as I've seen, such an event hasn't happened recently. At least if it has happened it hasn't been announced. I'd love to be a part of it, but have no idea how to do so at this point.

Heh, heh, heh, I know what the words are. I've been on the lookout for whoever I need to join the cult since I first saw the roleplay forum. Just didn't know who to see for it.

Ditto. I would like to join as well (with both my characters).
 
Suggestion For Jayelle

Maybe you could give a time and a place (Most likely Athica) and folks can gather there to receive the mark, similar to what the Prophet did for us originally. We could send out the Bearers' fastest bards and rangers to spread the word. It might also be a chance for some of those who are newer to the server to say "Bearers of Truth" huh? Anyway, just a suggestion. See ya on the other side.

*nods* Something like that would be great. If you announce when someone will be available, I'd make a point of being there at the appropriate time and place.
 
What are your character's names, so that I can look for you in game? Your best bet is to message me on IRC and let me know that you are in game and I can meet up with you. I am usually on M-F 8pm EST - until. Weekends the same times, but being more likely to spot me during the day as well.
 
My main is Babatte. *laughs* I'm mostly on in the mornings (at least while I'm still recovering from surgery, once I'm back at work I'll probably be on in the evenings, but that will be about a month). I'll try logging on this evening and see if you are around. I appreciate the response!
