Slow Mitigation?

I'm wondering how slow mitigation works on the server. Specifically a few questions:

Are slow mitigating mobs capped at a certain % slowed?

Is there any benefit to using a better slow spell over another one on mitigating mobs? I.e. is lvl 51 turgors provide just as much slowing as a 65 archaic?

Do slow focus effects provide any benefit to mobs which mitigate slow? If the initial unfocused slow already caps out the maximum benefit of slowing, then these are useless?

Can one tell if a mob mitigates slow without parsing?

Thanks,

Aux > Slow

Also makes me wonder if it was really necessary to nerf the cast speed on Archaic Slow...

speaking of, how does auxing work exactly? aka the formula, does it stop being effective after set amount of aux's or ac? ect ect

So your just adding to my wondering...

Auxing really is > Slow, yet slow got nerfed hehe.

I hate to say, often my shm aux's and heals instead of doing slows, makes my tanks live longer x)

I can try (have to) slow the mobs on inc, and be ready to heal, but it can go south fast.

But thanks for the info Zaela, thats amazing reading.

You do more dps, overall, from behind a mob because the mob doesn't get to parry/riposte (or dodge iirc) on anything out of the front arc.
