Tome of the Touch option 1
With each rank completed increases the chance to cast the lower version harm touch upon successful cast of harm touch by 5/10/15/20%

This basically uses RNG to bring back the possibility to triple HT. Granted it would be at 4% chance.

So, casting Leach touch grants you a 20% chance to auto-cast Improved HT, and casting Improved HT gives a 20% chance to cast normal HT. Maybe even give casting normal HT a 20% chance to cast normal HT again, idk. Maybe numbers should be changed a little lower, but would be reminiscent on the times when we could triple HT.

Tome of the Touch option 2
Each rank gives 500/1k/1500/2k mana back to the sk when a HT is cast.

Tome of 2h Mastery
Each rank provides (5%/10%/15%/20%) bonus dmg and (1%/2%/3%/4%) chance to flurry when using a 2 hander.
 
I think the % may be a tad high on your bonus harm touch idea. But I do like it. I really like the 2hand tome, too.
 
A few other ideas is a tome that increases the healing from lifetaps maybe 2/4/6/8% . Or if you go with the SK are like the Goth Vamp wannabe kids, a tome that gives SK some sort of bonus (mabyeac/atk) only at night time.

A full CoP bonus and flurry! Sounds balanced, why not make sks the best tank and dps?

With a 2h. It is for those occasions when you are not tanking its feasible to resemble dps. Even with that a warrior would still out dps a sk. Maybe the numbers need adjusted some.
 
How about something like a % of monster ac gets reduced while the sk is attacking the monster, by increasing amounts per rank. Kind of a pair to the necro resist reducing line.

Maybe helps sk dps a bit, along with the other classes who hit things with things.

I don't know balancing numbers. Someone better at this game than I am could think of something reasonable, I think.
 
I would want it to be, "Tome of the bad touch" And when you open it up, it has an ascii picture of a person frowning. :(

When the SK dodges/blocks/parries reduce the cooldown of harm touch/leech touch by X seconds. (Has an internal cooldown of Y seconds)

Sounds fun sounds like the internal cooldown would make it balancable and still provide utility to the shadow knight

I don't think this is possible but I may be mistaken. This type of mechanic would be pretty cool for a lot of different abilities/spells though if someone could find a way to implement it.
 
i think the internal cooldown portion might be the barring effect but maybe not im not sure if thats the case it could be removed and have the %s reduced to compensate.
