SK AAs that need to be looked at...

spell casting subtlety(a SK who spends points on this AA must be retarded, end of discussion)
pet discipline(seriously when was the last time a SK bee using pets after lvl 51?)

those two I really dont see any SK in the right mind spending their earned AA points on, I'm requesting for them to be changed whenever is possible into something more useful. My suggestion is AA that increases your block ability by small percentages when wearing a shield, thats all I can think of for now.
 
uh?, not saying to change it on other classes. I'm saying to change it for SK who have no use for them, I didnt said anything to change it for other classes. I'm aware that for most casters like necros and mages thsoe 2 abilities rock.
 
On this note, The Assault of Shadows 'hate generating' AA, I was wondering, since so many Shadowknights think its a waste of time, to make it more desireable, could it be made with the ability to cast on mobs even with the SK being silenced? It would add more utility and make it really worth it. I love this AA as it is but not being able to tank certain mobs because they silence is quite unfair. Even a monk or a ranger can tank and hold aggro on those mobs better than us.

Similarly, Pet Discipline is shared across multiple pet classes and can't be changed. The EQ client is retarded.

Well, some AAs may be more useful than the others. I believe it is so for most of the classes, even though casters usually complain more than melees :D
 
well perhaps not saying it right, let me say it in another way, how about removing those useless AA abilities and adding newones, not changing the AA ability itself but adding AA's and removing those from the SK line. Can that be done? Sorry If it was confusing, my english is not that good. ;(
 
at some point i think it might be a fair idea to do a quick list of what basic restrictions the use of the client has.... maybe clear up the bazillion posts that ask for feasible but technically impossible changes.
 
Such a list has been posted in the past, but if you mean a sticky then yeah, that'd be a good plan.

Off the top of my head: passive AAs must remain passive, active AAs must remain active, AAs that are shared between classes will be the same for each class, kludgey hack fixes are not acceptable, timer-adjust AAs cannot be changed, and prerequisites and costs cannot be changed.
 
Okey thanks, sad to hear that, but it is al cool. Now that we are talking about the subject of AAs is there a way to implement the GoD AA abilities? there is none for those and some of them were really cool. Asking this since I found out that is client base some of those AAs required lvl 70 so I dont know if they are possible or not to do on this server, is it possible?
