Since the new patcher it says maps corrupted

Hi. I love shards of dalaya.

I have my first problem with the game and it only just now happened after I got the new patcher. It says either my client crashed and wants me to send a report, which I did, or it tells me that cannot load zone because the map being used is corrupted. the maps obviously are the maps from the files download page and they work fine. They cannot be corrupted. I deleted the maps and unzipped again to folder and I re-patched all files and deleted patcher and re-downloaded it. Still corruption message or crash message. I did manage to log in one character, but once I tried to zone, I got the corrupted maps message. I really don't want to lose my character that I put some real effort into. But, if it is fate then so be it. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. If all I have to do is uninstall and reinstall and re-patch that would work, after I find where I put my disks!!!! lol

My character's name is Skalos by the way. In case you need that info.

The maps being referred to are likely the graphics maps of the zones, not the in-game maps in the maps folder. The patcher doesn't download either map, with the exception of the in-game map vexthal_1.txt (map for the Mansion of Portals). It sounds like your installation was corrupted somehow. Reinstalling and repatching should fix you up.

I sort of figured but I was also wishing there was a way to avoid reinstalling. Laziness may have set in. Thanks.
