shrouded isle mobs fleeing

could fleeing be turned off for shrouded isle mobs? having them run out the wall inside the house leaving you with no options but FDing or dying is kind of lame... :(
 
The other option is to kill them quicker. ;) Having spent a LOT of time in that zone I know what you mean. "Uh oh...the necro is heading to the house and....yep...time to run" Then all hell breaks loose when the entire damn basement starts trying to beat you down. Not nice. I would recommend pulling outside of the house for sure and pull as far AWAY from the house as you can.
 
Are the mobs Rootable?

I have never fought in Shroud Isle but if they run at one bub of health - sounds like fighting in some of the planes on Live - where a snare and/or root is needed to prevent complications.
 
This is a problem. Many classes do not have access to root/snare. I would agree with this idea myself. When they dont run you take more damage finishing them off. This would counter the safety added from not allowing them to stroll through the walls.
 
I've gotta go with the grouping thing on this one. Yes WR isn't at the point right now where you can say someone will always be available. But I would rather see the direction of the server be taken toward that end, rather than to the coin-machine direction of EQLive.

Might suck a bit, but it makes for a better server. Let'em run.

I've had 2 group wipes at lower levels there before we gave up on the zone in frustration. The problem isn't that they run, it's that they run through walls and then 40 seconds later 15 mobs show up.

Yeah, I ran a test level 20 around in there and it was pretty bad.
 
I've removed fear pathing in this zone for the time being. (WILL GO IN AFTER NEXT REBOOT)
