I randomly logged in an alt on Friday to see how server was doing and ended up leading a group at ew orcs for the shiggles.

Supp decided to join in the fun and welfare'd up a whole lotta exp for us noobs. People say BSTs are bad. Supp is one bad mofo.

I don't know where to else to put this post but thank you to Supp or whoever is playing him these days for not letting us bads who sit in /lfg go unrewarded, at least for one two hour orc genocide.

Think of how when 1.2mil charms were added the active server pop was twice that of what it is now. Back then when I played lfg'ing took maybe 30 minutes to an hour on bad days to find a group. Now I can lfg for literally days and not find anything. Just a little food for thought

I've noticed when I /ooc LFG I almost never get a response, but if I /ooc 65 xp (or specific zone I want to hit) has room, I almost invariably get 2-3 tells.

That said, I also know people who shy from grouping because they don't want to split plat. Pisses me off to no end. More so since in many instances duo farming is just plain more efficient to acquire plat.

Have and do. I'm capable of forming groups but the pickings are slim. Most of the time i spend /ooc lfg i'm also msg'ing people trying to gauge their interests so its not like i'm just sittin there waiting for groups to magically appear. I was just commenting that the standard fresh 65 starting today is going to have a much longer road towards their 1.2mil charm. But maybe that's not even a bad thing considering its just supposed to be a money sink anyways

Fresh level 65s are welcomed to join vintage. If and when I do exp groups I will ask guild if anyone wants to join. I do not go out of my guild to invite people to groups.
 
People have asked me to join when I've been in a zone w/ spots and they have been welcomed to join
 
Reminds me in good old days when I soloed ew Orc camp by swarm kiting. From time to time there were small groups and asked me if its camped. I asked them just to join and we cleared nearly the whole zone. Fun times.
