heh shoulda just reverted back the 48 chars after all my char only level 6 heh so wouldnt have mattered to me =) sigh coulda been playing for another 7 or 8 hours *crys*

Look at it this way: we lose a bit of time, but we have an opportunity to get rid of a bunch of people who do not have the best interests of the community at heart.

SoD doesn't revolve around you, silly. :)

Think of the other people that play this game too!

They might have accomplished something enormous during those 48 hours, such as gain 30 levels, epic weapons, finally get that drop from the mob they've been camping, etc.

Yesterday, I killed frost giants for about 8+ hours straight for dragon faction. Managed to get from threateningly to ally.
I definitely don't wanna have to go thru another 8+ hours again.

I climbed half dome, then spent about a day sitting around with fat bags of ice strapped to my knees. But I'm still glad there's no rollback, because those make baby jesus cry.

Are you serious? I climbed half dome last week...it was an awsome trip...We did up to little yosemite with backpacks, ditched em then and hiked the rest of the way up and back down to little yosemite for the night...

Me and my old man on Friday =P

Good call on hitting Little Yo first. With the road closure by Curry Village there was an extra mile on each end, so it came out to 18.4 miles round trip, with close to 2 vertical miles =) Loooong freaking day. So worth it, though.

All I can think of when I see the height of that ledge, is hearing Peter laughing his little laugh as he was falling out of the plane...

sweet...i agree that trip was worth it

Ok this is sad but, I am so bothered by heights that the grandness of that picture made me dizzy!

Haha... yeah, it's a bit intimidating up there if you're sitting at the edge. Especially if the wind starts gusting.

I used to be pretty afraid of heights, wouldn't even go on tall roller coasters. Then I started rock climbing (not too bright of me, maybe?) and that took care of it. I'm still not one of those people who will go up and stand on the edge with my toes hanging over, but I enjoy the nice view down either while sitting or from a couple feet back =)

Wow.... I couldn't do that. I mean, you know, I can hike decently, for all my smokin', and I could stand at the edge, but combined? Yeah, I'd end a little Padori-shaped spatter at the bottom, heh.

But WOW! That's an insane view! Grats on the adventure! =D

heights

Ya I know where your coming from I am either scared of heights or scared of falling maybe both hehe anyway we have a mountain near Prince George BC , Canada called Mount Robson , I have hiked that and been to the tallest glacier very nice site if u guys ever get a chance to come to BC make sure you stop there you will never regret it a trip worth while :) and also if your up north visit Liard hot springs very relaxing trip hehe . :)

Sounds nice and looks spectacular! But alas, too poor to travel and the tallest thing to climb around here is my house... not a bad view from the roof ya know. :)

'tis an amazing view! Largest thing I climb around here is Grand Canyon :/ Sedona isn't very large, but the rocks are naturally painted beautifully.

Wow nice pic. Half Dome s is one of my all time favorite hikes. I have done it twice now. First time we could not get to the top due to a storm.

Here is a link to my ofoto album for last year just after Labor Day. If anyone is interested in seeing more of what the area looks like and what you have to do to hike to the top.
