Shield of Crystallized Music

Is there anyway to make this coded as a shield so that you can bash with it? I am not entirely sure how bash/shields work, but a paladin in my guild said that you cannot bash with it. Anyway this could be fixed/explained why you cannot bash?

This is because every time I suggest non-bard class things to be fixed, they get fixed, whereas when I asked about bard fixes, they just don't happen. I have to feel like I am doing something for the community, amiright?
