Sharing edited maps

I've been diligently adding labels to maps for ground spawns on CoI quests, mobs, what keys for certain doors and stuff like that. I was wondering what the concensus is for sharing for example the labels on ground spawns since they are on the wiki as locs, or the labels of where the statues are in the sea. Does this make it too easy and destroy the point of the quests? If it's all above board I'd gladly share.
 
I don't think there'd be any issues with this. i know i've recieved edited maps from people in the past. as long as it wasnt MQ stuff i think you'd be alright!
 
Although we will not add stuff like spawns to our official maps there is nothing wrong with sharing modified maps with friends. I personally think that sort of social interaction is a good thing..Main Quest answers are of course the one exception.

Tao edit: clarified to say "Main Quest" to avoid confusion with another use of "MQ" that involves maps and is very not-okay
 
IIRC, CW used to have a map pack they shared with people years ago. Pretty sure its unavailable now though
 
I marked the traps for Nadox on a map and gave it to Oozu and Tarutao. Also, I had a surprisingly good idea for maps when readind this thread, so I'm gonna post in on my guild forums and maybe take it out for a trial run. If it's awesome, I'm sure we'll hoard it and it'll eventually leak.

As far as Main Quest is concerned, only the answers are not allowed to be shared correct? Ground spawns involved in side quests and such are ok?
I've been marking my map with ground spawns, named NPCs, etc... for years now with little messages detailing what the mob or item is for. I wouldn't mind loading it on to the wiki if there were a way.

Find a way to compile submissions maybe?

Yeah, details about the Main Quest like where things drop, what items you need, etc. are allowed (and many of those things can be found on the SoD Wiki even). The "quiz questions" are off-limits, though, as are "riddle quests" like the quest [Mind Games] in the Plane of Lore.
 
Macro Quest, if you're newish you may have missed our great MQ2 purge a few year back. Lots of bans. Don't get mixed up with it, unless you really don't want to play here anymore.
