Shared Mind Broken?

I recently got sharedmind with max aa's that needs to go into it bout 2 weeks ago. Yesterday i was just asked if anyone noticed any increase of melee attacks or that. So a rogue(Thaf) who has 250+aa's and hidden str2 decides to pull out his parser and find out. While exping in FG Thaf was hitting for around 69.7% with me in group. Later on that night we were raiding and he was hitting raid mobs for around 67.6% with me not in the group.

So after hearing the numbers he was hitting, this makes me wonder if sharedmind is working at the moment? Any other chanters on the server notice a difference with sharedmind? or have the same deal.

Comparing the results from a raid to a group situation isn't really useful. Mobs can have completely different ac values even in the same zone. Some raid mobs have low ac and generally on raids characters will have better buffs. If you want to get results that will even cause anyone to take you seriously, take 2 parses in the same area of a zone with the same buffs.

yea i forgot to mension he had the same buffs the whole time. same weapons and that.

thoguh i would figure raid mobs would have higher ac and all that so figure he should hit a lot less then exp mobs. but 2 % is not a whole lot.

i'll just have to keep an eye on it. and get more numbers and post them i guess.

Odd, I asked a similar question to an enchanter in my guild today.
I asked if there was a max distance for the effect or else you wouldnt get it since I stood fairly far from the enchanter and had the following numbers.

grouped with an enchanted and with max offensive AAs and full raid buffed and ~420dex(including buffs) I had the following for accuracy vs a raid boss which i assume was at the very least moderatly debuffed.

crush 65.5%

pierce 68.2%

backstab 60.5%

over a 6min 26sec fight

These numbers seemed to me to be what I would expect without the shared mind effect.

But I am sure I am wrong and the above is super swell accuracy for the mob.

I do know from my parsing that rogue miss rate is generally pretty high, ~40%.

Shared mind effects the innitial group. So i dont really think there is a distance for it to work, i think it just reads as the person bein in the group and gives the benifits no matter wehre they are.

Could use some confirmation on that though.

Perhaps its like paladin + undead crit chance, which does appear to take effect no matter how far away you are from your paladin.

maybe it's like the palandin aa, in that you have to invite the enchanter last, or drop / reinvite him to give everyone the benefit?

Did we try that in FG? I don't remember..

yea me and thaf tried that. i disbanded then got reinvited.

still same thing, guess on the weekend or something i'll see if i can get some more numbers with me not in group and with group and reinviting and everything else that can go into it.
