One of these dropped in Misery today and I equipped it and saw no noticeable change in anything. I was thinking it was a "hidden effect" until I ooc'd it and someone pointed out that it was broken, and perhaps still is.

Anyone know what it's supposed to do and if it's working as intended?

If im not misteakin if you equip the shackles after you have gotten silenced by that god damned spectre (bonesomthing or somthinge) that drops the orbs of dim light, it will remove the silence, that silence lasts a long time and is a huge pain in the ass

Not sure how reliable that is, especially the damage, but from the AE portion at least, it seems it might remove more than just YOUR silence?

Yeah, when I'm pulling and have both characters silenced... I just jump around trying to get a heal from someone. It doesn't work.
