I know how some people don't liked to be asked these kind of questions, but I'm dying to start playing on your server.... think it will be up by tomorrow? :p :sadf:

No, there is still much work to be done. Last I heard, 320 complication errors with the server software... and that's just complication. Not to mention any bugs taht might arise, plus items still need to be finished being converted.

Awww, oh well I guess I can wait a little longer. Any ETA on when it will be up? :) (P.S I can't connect to the irc channel I keep getting: Unable to connect to server (connection refused) ) Any idea how to fix this? :p

Make sure you're doing /connect irc.eqemulator.net then /join #wr

There is no ETA. Do not ask for an ETA.

lethalencounter.eqemulator.net instead of irc.eqemulator.net

The redirector runs off the same machine as lethalencounter.eqemulator.net AFAIK.

If you are having trouble connecting or staying connected to one EQEMulator server try one of the others directly. Their addresses are: Krusher.EQEMulator.net, Daitrix.EQEMulator.net, Devn00b.EQEMulator.net, and LethalEncounter.EQEMulator.net

From a global IRC message. Try any number of those.

Daitrix is offline.

The correct list is:
  • lethalencounter.eqemulator.net
  • krusher.eqemulator.net
  • baron-sprite.eqemulator.net
  • devn00b.eqemulator.net
    [/list:u]

I think I'm forgetting one. :sadf:

While I personally do not do any type of programming, my two best friends in real life do. These are the things I understand about. It will take i'm sure alot of time to go over the code and find the errors and any bugs that will take happen. Even when it is playable there will always be more bugs to sort through. A big thanks to you all for keeping WR alive and going.

While I do not always jump on IRC alot, I'm available to playtest most nights and some days if testers are needed. You may contact me via email if there is anything I can do to help.

Something for the rest of us to do while they are working hard. How about coming up with some history and stories of the adventures our characters have gone through thus far. I've started working on some of the adventures i've gone through and will post them in the near future.

Thanks again

Also, you have to understand that once the compilation errors themselves are fixed, there'll probably be tons of bugs to sort out so we need you guys to use the Bug Board a lot when the server comes back.

There should be a better way to track errors Mel. I mean with the flow of bugs we will probably have during the first stage, the board is just not a good way to keep track of them.

Moreso, someone should be in charge of collecting, classifing and assigning completion percentage to all reported bugs. Also make them public so everyone knows if his/her reported bug has been corrected. Maybe, if you guys want me to, I can design an online tracking software… just to keep things organized.

just want to say

Its amazing the time and effort you guys are putting into this server...All to please people...and for free I might add.

Kudos to the hard working people and I look forward to starting on WR when its up.

Sure, that'd be nice. :)
