- You have been harrassing our members during the last GM event.
- You have been warned by Wiz for doing so.
- Your guildleader Lokdar officially appologied for it and we agreed to have a new start together. Furthermore
Lokdar stated he wont try to recruit any of our members anymore.

All that happened like 1 week ago. Now I got again reports from several members that they are receiving money,
item and powerlevel offers if they would join Ruin. This is inacceptable for us and considered as very hostile.

As reaction and consequence I briefed our members and authorized them to accept any money, item or PL offer
they receive from your side, to get the Ruin guildtag for the time of the transfer and then deguild right after, to
be reinvited by Court of Glory. Thank you in advance Ruin for gearing our members!

I state this here in public so you can't come afterwards and cry we ripped you off.

You have been warned about it now, now deal with it.

Furthermore I hereby speak out a non support, non grouping policy between Ruin and Court of Glory,
lasting untill this issue is finally settled and belongs to the past.

I don't know why have to recruit from us instead of raising your own members? It is not all that hard, or is it?

We all could live in peace that way.
 
With a lot of ppl moving on to other things leaves for empty guilds which need to be refilled or else ppl get bored and even more leave so that no high end raiding can get done, hence the push for getting recruits which is quite hard since the population is so low.
 
Aye, I can see the problem, but nevertheless, we have managed to recruit 40 mostly new players to
WR and made them stay here. So I can think other guilds can accomplish the same.

Instead of vulturing eachother, get new players recruited and make them stay so the WR community grows
instead of anoying and destroying new guilds and have people move on to other games therefor.

Furthermore the situation still doesn't justify shady and hostile recruiting methods which imo don't add or contribute
anything good to the WR community at all. On the contrary, they create a hostile atmosphere which noone really wants.

I do hope Ruin does share this point of view.
 
A suggestion

My suggestion would be if a guild is hurting for membership they should seek out alliances with other guilds and either seek out mergers or work to do Co-Op raids. Survival depends on your ability to adapt.
 
Thank you for bring this up COG. I've had some of the same problems as well. It's really frustrating to try to have a guild grow with our members getting tempted, shown items and spells they *could* have if they reguilded and such. Please understand that someone says NO, they mean they don't want in your guild. I have never ever tried to recruit someone from another guild, the only way someone from another guild joins mine is if they do so out of free will. I consider that *honorable*

Personally I think your a whiney bitch who can't deal with recruitment politically without looking for the shirttail of wiz and the gms when you can't protect your own interests.

When Ruin lost members in droves I went to the leader of the guild causing this and tried talking things out, barring that I went to other political moves.

I dont bribe people with money items etc, I don't want lootwhores. You are a young guildleader and I know how that is , but all you seem to accomplish with us right now is seriously pissing me off.

I don't sling mud with threads like these and melwins old thread, I take shit to the people I have a problem with. For those of you who do not know who I am, I am the reconstituted form of the original Thorbain, playing the PC known as Gronuth.

For your information NAUK:

1. Upon wizzy's request all active invitations toward anyone in CoG (including people we happen to like and would like to have with us no matter tagged or not) has been stopped, BECAUSE WIZZY REQUESTED IT.

2. There has been absolutely no active recruiting from the officers towards any member of CoG since this time.

3. We do not try to control our members to the point that they can not invite ingame or RL friends into the guild. If they happen to be in your guild, and one of our STANDARD RANK MEMBERS (NON-OFFICER) happen to convince one of your people to come over, the most I can do is apologize that someone convinced an ingame/RL friend to come to their guild, and not the other way around.

4. It is not Ruin's policy to flaunt loot at people to make them join. Doing so tends to only invite the loot whores and the greedy others whom we do not care to have.

5. As for the indirect threats of going KoS to Liny, this topic will be handled by Lokdar, but as a member of a guild, such an open threat of hostility is a lude act in and of itself. THIS IS THE OPINION OF A PLAYER. NOT AN OFFICER That is something I can't stress enough.

6. For mager, "alliances" have been turned down by our general population many times and is only workable if like minded leaders are involved.

If you have any further problems that you don't feel you can take to Lokdar, please feel free to personally contact me in-game. Adults bring their problems to each other in a calm manner, children run and cry to mommy. So please, think of the children :911: .
 
This was exhaggerated, even if it rested in good grounds. The situation has been resolved, the drama is over, there was no real evildoer here.

Please let it rest.
