Ring 4 question

Today I did this quest with Dunbar and 7 others. After the group killed the swarm of mobs at the end, no one was given a bandage to give to the captain. I hailed all of the newport quards and none gave the bandage.

My question comes in how we fought the lsat swarm of 12 mobs. At one point everyone was just about dead, so we zoned, healed on the other side, and then came back in and killed off the remaining 6 or so. Does this reset the quest or something? If not, then there might be a bug. :sadf:

According to the wiki, after they are all dead, a newport guard says, "'The onslaught apears over. Quickly - take this bandage and give it to the Captain. Perhaps you can tend his wounds enough that he can make a return trip to Newport which he did say. But when I hailed all 3 that were left alive, none handed over the bandage.

the same thing happened in the 3rd optional main quest, i went with the good side and when i was fighting the evil gnome in nbl i accidently hit the good npc from the tower (sorry, dont remember the names), anyway, i zoned to stop her from fighting me and i had to redo the whole fight when i zoned back in, so more than likely you will have to do all the waves without zoning at all.

I don't think zoning has anything to do with it.
My group got trained out of there yesterday when a wizard aoe'd and aggro the guards.

I did notice that one of the mobs somehow got stuck way up on a wall and was just standing there.

Is it possible you missed one of the undead mobs, so the guard was waiting for it to die before giving you the bandage?
